True Story: My 1961 Ford in a Show ‘n Shine and Took First Place

I took the weekend off and entered a local vintage car show here in Goldendale, Washington. It was put together by the local city elder by the name of Jim Peroulis. The city elder is a film freak from way back, having a small part in the film "Mabrouk Again". A love of cars was fostered slowly.
I entered my 1961 Ford in the cruise with the desire of impressing my friends :). I spent quite a bit of time getting the Ford. I had done my research on the Ford by going over to VIN checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Ford was a collector car!
I ended up taking home a first place trophy! | was completely amazed still in shock that my little old Ford had been named a star of the show. Next year I'll start preparing earlier.
