My wife and I Entered the 1955 Lincoln in a Regional Competition and Was Impressed
Posted by richard under classic cars, insurance, old cars

I entered a local car show here in Ryland Heights, Kentucky. It was organized by the local Sheriff by the name of Jim Atckinson. The Sheriff is a movie fan from way back, having a small part in the film "Camino al crimen". A love of cars was fostered over time.
I entered my 1955 Lincoln in the show 'n shine with the dream of taking home a prize. I spent two days getting the Lincoln. I had done my car history search on the Lincoln by going over to VIN checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. Based on the excellent information I found that my Lincoln was one of a kind!
My car won Best of Show! | was completely amazed still in shock that my little old Lincoln had so many people hanging around it. Next year I'll start preparing earlier.
