Living with a 1973 Mercedes Old Car and not Going Crazy While Enjoying Your Vacation

Time has flown this car-driving season.
Megan and I have had our 1973 Mercedes now for around eleven years. Truth be told we've been very happy with the car. Our condo is in upper Idaho, near Idaho, and we enjoy driving the car during the spring months. My opinion is I'd say it's an excellent car for the money.
From the day we picked up the Mercedes we've been driving up a storm. We took it out for a spin to see my uncle in Mississippi several times over the year. The Mercedes does well on gas and has not given us a lot problems in terms of repair.
The Mercedes is in perfect shape, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken excellent care of the car over the past 22 years. Our previous car, a Lancia, had plenty of issues and we weren't sad to get rid of it.
It was stressed to me to get insurance on the vehicle. For our classic car insurance safeco we went with a company called Hagerty Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on insurance reviews. It's an awesome resource for finding the best offer on insurance for collector cars. We insured the Mercedes for a fraction of what Progressive wanted.
The classic car insurance was just in time because within a month of getting it we were involved in a horrible accident with a Chrysler. The accident totalled both cars. Our Hagerty Insurance insurance agent contacted us and let us know the car would be fixed! It was a relief because of our fondness to the car.
The worth of the car has gone up a lot over the past three years to our surprise. It's hard to believe we paid $16,000 for the car back in 1991. Now it's worth at least $40,000! We've been offered this much several times this year. My spouse is very excited!
Go out and find that special classic car Go out and don't hesitate, there's a world of good condition Mercedess out there. Buy a Mercedes now before the price goes up! You won't be sorry.
