True Story: My 1960 Lincoln in a Local Show and Took First Place
Posted by richard under classic cars, insurance, old cars

I took the weekend off and entered a club-sponsored show and shine here in Tenakee Springs, Alaska. It was run by the local Sheriff by the name of Crispin Montgomery. The Sheriff is a film freak from way back, having a small part in the film "A fuego lento". A love of cars was nurtured slowly.
I entered my 1960 Lincoln in the car show with the desire of impressing my friends :). I spent 3 hours getting the Lincoln. I had done my research on the Lincoln by going over to vin number checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Lincoln was quite rare!
I couldn't believe it...my car won first place! | was totally floored that my little old Lincoln was so well received. Next year will be even bigger.
