Living with a 1970 Firebird Collector Car and Going Poor While Blowing a Lot of Gas

Winter is soon upon us.
Nicholas and I have depended on our 1970 Firebird now for just about four years. For that length of time we've been content with the car. Our house is in western Texas, near Alamo Heights, and we love driving in the car during the hotter months. My opinion is I'd say it's an awesome vehicle for the money.

The worth of the car has gone up a lot over the past three years to our surprise. It's hard to believe we paid $16,000 for the car back in 1999. Now it's worth at least $40,000! We've been offered this much several times this year. My wife is very excited!
