Living with a 1972 MG A Antique Car and Breaking the Bank While Blowing a Lot of Gas

Time has flown this car-driving season.
Carol and I have owned our 1972 MG A now for around 4 years. For that length of time we've been very happy with the car. The condo is in upper Utah, near South Weber, and we love driving in the car during the spring months. My opinion is I'd say it's a brilliant toy for the money.

Almost from the minute we received the MG A we've been driving up a storm. We drove to visit my brother in Georgia numerous times over the year. The MG A does fair on gas and has not given us alot issues in terms of service.

The MG A is in tip top shape, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past twenty-one years. Our previous car, a Daewoo, had plenty of breakdowns and we weren't unhappy to see it go.

The value of the car has gone up a lot over the past few years to our surprise. It's hard to believe we paid $12,000 for the car back in 1995. Now it's worth at least $50,000! We've been offered this much several times this year. My wife is very excited!
