Living with a 1972 Dart Classic Car and not Going Crazy While Enjoying Your Vacation

Nothing prepared us for how much fun we've had.
Roland and I have had our 1972 Dart now for around 10 years. For that length of time we've been thrilled with the car. The house is in upper Texas, near Orient, and we enjoy driving in the car during the hotter months. Our opinion is I'd say it's a brilliant toy for the money.

During the time we've owned the Dart we've been behind the wheel. We took it out for a spin to see my college roommate in New Hampshire several times without any issues. The Dart does Ok on gas and has not given us alot issues in terms of maintenance.

The Dart is in good condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken it upon themselves to fix it up over the past twenty-two years. Our previous car, a Abarth, had plenty of breakdowns and we weren't depressed to sell it off.

The car insurance was just in time because within a month of getting it we were involved in a horrible accident with a Mercedes-Benz. The accident totalled both cars. Our Hagerty insurance agent called us and let us know the car would be gotten back to us without problems! It was a relief because of our love to the car.

The worth of the car has gone up a lot over the past two years to our surprise. It's hard to believe we paid $12,000 for the car back in 1997. Now it's worth at least $35,000! We've been offered this much several times this year. My spouse is very excited!
